RheoActiv creates a matrix of polymer chains which enables water to move far more effectively within a concrete or mortar mix. By doing this the requirement for water is reduced significantly (up to 40% less in some cases) without reducing the workability / flow. Similarly by addition of a RheoActiv you can achieve far more flow without adding any more water. Water greatly reduces the strength of concrete and causes more shrinkage upon drying which leads to cracking. By using less water you can achieve far better results.
